"Green Earth" Original Modern Abstract Painting

Some artwork fills a wall. This is the piece that helps a room breathe.

Green Earth brings the grounding presence of the natural world indoors through rich emerald greens, deep forest tones, vibrant moss accents, and subtle earthy undertones. The expansive composition feels alive without feeling restless, creating a sense of depth, calm, and quiet strength wherever it hangs.

Dora Woodrum builds the surface with heavy, tactile impasto relief, shaping dramatic physical ridges that catch the light and create shifting shadows across the canvas. Finished with a high-gloss resin surface, the painting reveals new layers as the day changes, sometimes deep and meditative, sometimes luminous and full of movement.

At six feet wide, Green Earth has the presence to anchor a room while still bringing a feeling of peace. Imagine it above a sofa, in a serene bedroom, in a nature-inspired office, or in any space where you want to feel more grounded and restored. Display it vertically for a stronger, upward movement or horizontally for a wide, calming landscape of color.

A daily return to what feels steady

This is artwork for a home that values natural beauty, quiet confidence, and a slower way of living. Let the deep greens settle the room. Let the texture reward a closer look. Let Green Earth become the piece that brings you back to yourself, even on the busiest days.
